Ooooh, now I want to be like one of those gifted autistic people who can learn languages fluently in a day. Shorthand IS the MOST frustrating thing I have EVER had to learn in my LIFE. I mean that. I have never been so frustrated. Learning is easy. Very easy. Normally. But this... aodflakdsfaldkfhadlfohhhhhh you have no idea. Ahhh. This is like learning hieroglyphics. But harder because at least pictures make sense somewhat more than all this nonsense! I am on lesson ONE. LESSON ONE!!!! And I'm already dying. I keep going to the forums to see how the other online students are doing, and they're all having a hard time, but the thing is, THEY are more than thirty years older than me and they have learned shorthand before. This is my first time ever! No experience with it whatsoever! This is ridiculous! My head hurts! And there's no air conditioner in my grandparents' house (where I am now) so you can imagine how even more frustrated I am with the heat.

I'm done complaining.
I can do this. It's just going to take a little more determination than I have right now.

Anyway, so now that summer is finally starting to settle in, I realized I have a lotttt of work to do. Especially in August when there's going to be plenty more school-related things to get going. Class, ASB, Link Crew, AP English reading, Shorthand, volunteer work. Mmm WONDERFUL. Okay, I'm complaining again.

I'm excited to start driving legally. I sign up for my driver training tomorrow morning and then I get to take my permit test. And probably at the end of July I get to go to Pennsylvania to visit my uncle. I'm excited. :] Antsy pantsy even.

Kay, now I have to get going with more Shorthand frustration again. Wish my luck.
